In order to receive a monthly pension from this Plan, you must retire and cannot perform any work that is covered or prohibited by the Plan. If you are receiving a Regular, Early or Service Pension, you can work in any employment other than Operating Engineer work. You can do some Operating Engineer work if you have reached Normal Retirement Age as outlined below. If you are receiving a Disability Pension, you cannot work in any “substantial gainful employment” because you must be Totally and Permanently Disabled to be eligible for a Disability Pension.
